Blood & Fortune is a 3-6 player card game full of negotiation, deduction and betrayal. In the game players offer their influence cards to other players in order to gain points--all the while trying to figure out who is winning in order to avoid offering them too much. With optional role cards and special actions, Blood & Fortune is easy to learn and add to as you play, but is tough to master. And did we mention that it looks absolutely gorgeous?!

Last weekend we got to hang out at SC Comicon and demo games for Boardwalk, our favorite FLGS. We had a blast playing our game Steam Court, meeting lots of cool people, and taking in all of the sights and sounds of one of Greenville, South Carolina's fastest growing conventions.
The Lords of Catan: Legacy is the new highly anticipated legacy edition of everyone's favorite tile-based game: The Settlers of Catan. Offering new missions, maps, permanent stickers and plenty of twists and turns, The Lords of Catan is likely to become the new number one game on boardgamegeek.com and it's not even available for sale in the U.S. yet! The Game is a 1–5 player card game in which players attempt to play an entire deck of cards numbered from 2 to 99. Super easy to pick up and learn, but challenging enough to draw you back for more—The Game wasn't nominated for a Spiel Des Jahres for nothing!

We've made amazing progress on our Steam Court Kickstarter in the past 24 days and we're headed toward a very successful close. In this episode we talk about some of the stretch goals we've reached, show off some of the components, and wrap up a couple of details as we make our final push to the finish line!
In Takenoko players attempt to care for the Emperors favored panda by cultivating land plots, irrigating them, and growing bamboo. Players all work to fulfill a set number of objective cards and the player to earn the most victory points in the end wins! Featuring a few Catan-esque elements, some delightfully stackable bamboo, and a comic book instruction manual—Takenoko is a gateway game that you just can't overlook.

MOD X is an abstract strategy game from Cryptozoic. In it, up to four players take turns placing plastic Xs on the board, trying to create specific scoring patterns. Making strategic use of the joker pieces, blocking others from scoring, and trying to prevent your point markers from getting covered by your opponents all help make Mod X feel like a serious upgrade to games like Connect 4 and Checkers. While being easy enough for kids to learn and enjoy, Mod X offers some chess-level strategy and its replayability feels pretty much endless!
We are excited to announce that on day one (within the first 5 hours!) we managed to successfully fund Steam Court on Kickstarter!

T.I.M.E. Stories is the new hotness! A co-op,"desksploration" game, where player explore a themed module looking for clues, gathering items and solving puzzles in order to change the past and avoid a world-altering time ripple. It's great fun and adventure for 2 to 4 players.
Overlords of Infamy is a hot new game coming to Kickstarter Wednesday, February 17. Become an overlord and expand your borders to gain resources and spy on your neighbor overlords. Will you fill all the fire hydrants with gasoline or serve meat in a vegan restaurant? The person to inflict the most misery wins the game.
In Codenames two teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their secret agents first. Based on the one-word clues, given by their Spymaster, players have to "guess who" the agents are that are on their team. The first team to tag all of their colored agents (and avoid the assassin) wins!
