WHAT TO EXPECT AT TANTRUMCON
This is your chance to learn and play hundreds of new games, meet new friends and old, hang out with the Tantrum House crew (as well as a host of other board game personalities), and enjoy 4 fantastic days of board gaming! Our board game library is huge! Our dedicated GMs will be teaching games all day. The Tantrum House crew will be on-site, in the mix, teaching and playing games, and giving away prizes. Tournaments and Tournameals will take place throughout the day, and it's pretty much the best board gaming that Charlotte has ever known!

Our Kids Gaming Area is Next-Level!
It's for kids ages 6-12 and features a full schedule of events. There will be games, dance parties, movies, contests, crafts, and more! A Kids Badge is required. On-site, parents will sign a waiver with contact information. Family members age 15 and older may stay to babysit younger siblings. Additional Tree House rules and guidelines will be available on-site. If you have questions, contact us :)

TABLE FLIPPING TOURNAMENTOur Table Flipping Tournament takes place every evening at TantrumCon and everyone has a chance to be involved in the activities. We start with trivia, prizes, and then during the main event contestants and special guests will launch their tables for glory and honor!

Catan National Qualifier
TantrumCon has served as an official National Catan Qualifier for the last several years, sending our champions onto compete in the Finals. At TantrumCon, the Pre-qualifier will take place on Saturday with Finals being held on Sunday.

Tantrum House is all about celebrating game designers and helping them bring their creations to life! From our BLOK videos, to our Board Games Launching on Kickstarter Facebook page, Tantrum House has been helping creators find an audience for their games for years! And TantrumCon is no different. We're teaming up with ProtoATL and the Game Designers of North Carolina to put together a full track of prototype events during the con! Check them out:
PITCH WORKSHOP—FRIDAY 11 A.M. HOSTED BY DANIELLE REYNOLDS
Make plans to attend our Pitch Workshop where you'll learn the core principles of creating a strong pitch, techniques for explaining your game concepts clearly and concisely, and how to create intrigue and genuine interest in your game! Bring your existing prototypes or attend just for the free coaching. This workshop will provide valuable feedback from designers and publishers in the industry. The Workshop is FREE but registration is required (will open soon).
PROTO TANK—FRIDAY 4 P.M.
We will be hosting our Prototype "Shark Tank" show again this year. Game designers will have the opportunity to present their games in front of a panel of industry gurus as well as a live audience. There is a cost of $25 per game pitched at this event. You'll get to pitch your game for two minutes, then our "Sharks" (designers, publishers, and media personalities) will ask questions about your game—helping you to put your best foot forward. Prizes will be awarded for our favorite 3 prototypes. More info coming soon!
INDUSTRY MEETUP (FRIDAY 7 P.M.)
Rub shoulders with some of the coolest folks around! If you work in the industry consider this your invite to join us for a fun casual mixer Friday night!
CAMP PROTOTYPE (FRIDAY & SATURDAY)
Wanna try a bunch of games before they are published? Visit our Camp Prototype area to playtest games from all stages: early prototypes, finished designs and everything in between. Plus, for every prototype you playtest, you'll receive a raffle ticket to win prizes donated by our designers! There will be a drawing on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. (must be present to win!).
